Year 1 - Getting ready for Sports Day
All this healthy eating is giving Year One loads of energy! Look at us practising for Sports Day!
Healthy Eating Week - 12-16 June
One of Year One's challenges for Healthy Eating Week is to taste new foods. Some of them made us pull very funny faces!
This week we are lunchbox watching! We look at the contents of everyone's lunchbox, have a good chat and then vote for the healthiest. So far Molly has won two days in a row - can anyone knock her off the top spot?
We are so eggs-cited!
We have chicks hatching in our classroom at the moment, and they are making us so happy. If you would like to visit the new arrivals, Mrs. Davies will open her classroom door a little early each morning for the rest of term. Parents - please feel free to come too and bring your little ones to see ours!
Dear Parents and Carers
Another school year and another little swarm of Busy Bees in our Hive. The children are more than ready for the challenge of life in Key Stage One.
Busy Bees are always up to something and just love to learn. We know that good learners keep trying, take mistakes in their stride and share their knowledge. They are always polite and kind, and speak in proper “thumbs up” sentences!
Of course we learn best when we learn together, and here in our Catholic school we know that we are never alone because God is always with us. We hope you enjoy looking at pictures of the party we had with Year Two to celebrate the birthday of Our Lady.
The Hive really is “the place to bee” so come and see us some time!
Love from all the Year One Busy Bees
